Passengers Only Data Entry Form

Issue

This page gives information regarding the Passenger Only data entry form for Colorado DR3447.

If you are importing data, please contact us before editing data with the Crash Magic data entry program. Otherwise any changes may be lost with a future import.

If you are only doing data entry into Crash Magic (no importing), you must include all passengers that had any injury on this form.

Explanation

The Passengers Only data entry form is for editing or adding information for the Age, Position, and Injury fields.  It supplies entries for up to 8 passengers and 5 vehicles. This does not allow for any changes to the vehicle or driver information.  Those can be done on the main Crash data entry form.

This is a good place for adding or changing information regarding the injury level of a passenger involved in the crash.

Because Crash Magic calculates the overall injury severity for a crash, it is important to include EVERY passenger that had any injury on this data entry form.

Solution

If you are not familiar with the Crash Magic data entry program, please go here first: https://www.pdmagic.com/kb/data-entry-program/

Once you’ve logged into the data entry program, you will see an option to Change the data entry definition:

Click that button and select the Passengers Only form.

Next, type in or select from the list the case number you wish to edit, then hit the Edit button to get the Passengers data entry screen.

Here you can make your changes and then save the record.

This will not allow you to make changes to any vehicle or driver information.  Those can be made on the main Crash data entry form.
