No Oracle OLE DB driver is shown when building a connection string after installing the Oracle 11gR2 client.

Explanation

The Oracle OLE DB driver is not installed with the Oracle 11gR2 client. Users trying to create a connection string will not see Oracle Ole DB driver in the list of providers.

Solution

Users should install the ODAC(Oracle Data Access Components) from the oracle web site to obtain the correct driver. Click here to be taken to Oracles web site for the ODAC download. Installing this Oracle component will require a reboot. Crash Magic is unable to use the driver until a reboot is performed.
