Street names appear twice in lists of cross streets
In some cases street names appear twice in cross streets listings and that it can cause confusion when selecting street names.
Duplicate street names may appear in lists of cross streets when you are creating intersection diagram, intersection corridor diagram or use the “from crash db” button in the streets manager.
That occurs because two streets have been aliased together and they have common cross streets.
For example, if you take a database with some collisions assigned to the intersection of Gilbert Rd and Adobe St, and some collisions assigned to the intersection of Gilbert Rd and 8th Ave, and then create an alias from Adobe St to 8th Ave. After the alias is created you will see Gilbert appear twice in the list of cross streets in new diagram window and if you use the “from crash db” button in the streets manager.
This only affects the way cross streets are displayed in the program interface. Program output is not affected. The number of crashes will be calculated correctly on all reports and diagrams. The problem is fixed in version 6.638.
