Having Pd'Programming take over an existing configuration.

Incorrectly altering an existing configuration can invalidate data currently stored in an Intersection Magic database.  Even if the data isn't changed, the configuration describes how to read and interpret the data in the database.  While this is generally a safe operation if done correctly and according to the manual, it can be problematic if done incorrectly. 

Pd' Programming can assist you in modifying your configuration and provide you with tools and advice for testing your configuration when complete.  Most of this information is in our knowledgebase and in the "Creating a configuration" chapter in the manual.

Pd' Programming can also "take over" the configuration process.  Pd' Programming has a fixed cost for configurations and an incremental cost for modifying existing configurations.  When we are asked to "review" or "check" a configuration, what really needs to be done is that our configuration experts must go through all the steps of preparing a configuration, with the added restriction(s) of identifying and maintaining changes that were made by the client.

Correcting or verifying a user-created configuration is outside of the scope of general support.

In order for Pd' Programming to review and "approve" or "certify" a configuration that was created or modified outside of our offices, we must essentially take ownership of that configuration.  Once completed, we become responsible for any mistakes in the reviewed configuration.  We don't take this responsibility lightly.
