Accident rates can be accessed by the program in several ways. Rates will be automatically displayed on a diagram if it is available, rates can be accessed through the scripting language, and when producing a High Accident Locations listing from the Report menu. In this situation, if a volume data file has been selected, and the user chooses to sort intersections by rate instead of count, the volume data will be used to calculate accident rates for each intersection and use that value for sorting.
