User fields

These fields will be named according to your database configuration.  Usually you will be typing numbers into these fields, and the program will put in the text value for you.  You may also select the value from the list.  If there is no lookup for a number, or a value doesn't exist in the lookup table, an error message will come up.  This makes sure that erroneous values don't get entered into the database.

You may enter text such as N, S, E, W into a field instead of the number, if your Changes file has been set up to reflect the field, number, and text values.  For more information on this see Changes file.
