Toggle highlight palette

Places or removes the highlighting bar on the screen. Highlight is used to highlight one or more accident types in a different color or colors.  When you select to Toggle the Highlight Palette, and click on a color, you will be asked to identify the field and value you wish to highlight.  Scroll boxes listing the fields and values will be provided for you to select from.

Highlight can be used to highlight one or several fields.  For example, you can specify accidents associated with icy roads and then specify accidents associated with snow to highlight all winter-weather related accidents.  This requires completing the highlight process twice, using the same color.

Filters can also be used when highlighting.  Using your mouse, click right on one of the colors from the palette.  You will be prompted for the name of a previously saved filter.
