The basics

In order to install IMW on a network, you must have read/write access to the network drive to which you will be installing.  This access is not required to install the local files (except in scenario 3).  If you do not have this access, or are not sure about what that means, please contact your network administrator.

You can install to a network server from any machine, including the server.  It is important that all workstations (and the server) see the shared directory as the same drive letter.  (i.e. G:\MAGIC\DATA)  It is more complex if each machine maps a different drive letter to the shared directory.
