Street listing

The sliding spot report examines all the road segments for a given list of streets.  The street listing option is how the user specifies which streets to include in the study.  The specified file should contain a list of street names as they exist in the database (one line per street name).

An easy way to create this list is to use the Report / Listing / Streets list menu option.  After producing a street list in this manner, it may be edited to remove unwanted streets.  As an example, a user may create a street listing of all arterials, and another containing only collectors.  In this manner, finding the collector with the highest accident segment would become a one-step process.
