Sort output by

The street segment listing that is produced by running this report may be sorted several ways.

Sort type                 Description        

Street then location:                 This selection causes the list to be ordered first by street name, then by the hundred block or milepost segment.  In this mode, all segments of each street will be grouped together.  At the top of each group of street segments will be one end of the corridor, the last item will the other end of the corridor.        

Street then count:                 This selection will cause the list to be ordered first by street name, then by each street's highest accident segment.  In this mode, all segments of each street will be grouped together.  At the top of each group of street segments will be that street's high accident segment.        

Count the street                 This selection causes the highest accident segment to float to the top of the list.  In the event that several segments have the same number of accidents, they will then be sorted by street name.        

Count then location                 This selection will also float the highest accident segment to the top of the list.  In this case, when several segments have the same number of accidents, they are sorted by the hundred block or milepost number.
