If you have followed all the directions from the installation sheet, IMWEDIT will automatically be installed with the installation of Intersection Magic. It will have a separate icon located in the Pd' Programming group. Once you have a completed configuration and a database already imported into Intersection Magic, you will be setup to edit the database.
Preparing to perform data entry involves one more process, which is importing the street names. This is not required, but is HIGHLY recommended to minimize the misspellings of street names in the database.
| • | Step 1 is to create the street names file in a text format by typing in the street names. This can be done inside Intersection Magic using the editor, or any other program that can save a file as text. The format is one street name per line, as follows: |

| • | If you have data or street names in another software program, or another format, you can probably export the street names to a in the format needed by Intersection Magic. If you need help with this, please contacts us. |
| • | Step 2 is to the street list. This can be done inside Intersection Magic from the Utilities / Database / Import streets menu options. Or can be done from the IMWEDIT program under the Streets / Import list of streets menu options. You will be prompted for the file name. |
