Second to filters, scripts are one of the most powerful tools in IMW. Scripts can be used to gain access to the database and program functions internal to IMW. Scripts can be used to automate tasks, produce custom reports, analyze the contents of a diagram, etc. The language used can best be described as a cross between Pascal and Basic. Sample scripts are available on the distribution diskette and are installed in the WINPDS directory.
