The type of chart is similar to the Line except that it plots only the points or data markers. This chart has several variations, in terms of how it can be displayed. The variations below can be done through accessing the Options dialog box.

Points: only points or data markers are going to be shown in this chart. This chart will be a Cubed, Scatter, or Marker chart selected from the toolbar, or from the Options / General dialog boxes. Make sure you have the Show Points option checked under the Options / Series dialog boxes for these charts. These points can be displayed in several forms, rectangles, circles, triangles, marbles and cubes (3D-only). Please refer to Point type on how to change the point forms.

3D Points: each point will be drawn as a three-dimensional figure (cube). This option can be accessed from the toolbar, or from the Options / 3D View dialog boxes. 3D Clustered Points: each point will be drawn as a three-dimensional figure and each series will have its own row. This option is available from the Options / General dialog box but will not be visible unless a 3D chart is already selected.
