The mouse changes shape as the program runs.
| • | Arrow - The arrow is the normal mouse shape. |
| • | Magnifying glass (solid) - The mouse appears as a magnifying glass when in a collision diagram. |
| • | Magnifying glass (clear) - When the magnifying glass becomes clear, the mouse is on the point of impact. At this point, a left click will display the accident record. |
| • | Magnifying glass (+) - When you are zooming in on a diagram, the magnifying glass will have a plus sign indicator. |
| • | Magnifying glass (-) - When you are zooming out on a diagram, the magnifying glass will have a negative sign indicator. |
| • | Hourglass - The hourglass indicates wait. This appears on the screen while the program is processing a command. No input can be sent to the program in this state. |
| • | Hand - The hand is used in some dialog boxes such as the help system. It functions as the arrow does in the pull-down menus. |
