Mile marker

The process is the same for creating a Mile marker diagram.  Select the New Diagram menu option and then select to do a Mile marker diagram.  You will need to choose a Primary street.  This time, let's choose Broadway.  This street has a Mile marker range from 0 - 96.3.  So, click on the Range button and type in 75 as a beginning Mile marker and hit return.  Then, as an ending Mile marker, type in 96.3 and hit return.  The program will then search the database for that street name and select only the accidents that occurred between Mile marker 75 and 96.3.

Since this is a milepost diagram, we should change the schematic to represent that, instead of an intersection.  Select the Diagram / Schematic / Load menu options.  Here you will be presented with a list of all the different schematics.  For this example, change to the mid_blck\e_w directory and choose the normal.ara schematic.  The diagram will be re-drawn based upon the mileposts.  Any data that doesn't match the directions (possibly an accident that occurred at an intersection), will be placed in the missing data section.  For a detailed listing of the different schematics, see Schematic.
