A new feature added to the program is Virtual Locations. They work like this. You can create a named location that represents data from any number of normal queries such as Intersections, Nodes, All Data, Milepost, etc. You can even mix and match. These virtual locations may have volumes associated with them, and may be queried using the High Accident Locations list. You must create an ODBC share as described above before proceeding. Select Utilties / Database /Locations manager. From here, you can add or delete locations. Once a location has been added, you can select it to add or remove the queries that comprise it.
A location is either considered an intersection or a corridor for the purposes of calculating rates. Finally, you may add volume counts (ADT) and the dates on which they were taken.
