Import definition

Allows you to edit your import definition files (.IML).  This file defines the order and placement of data fields in the ASCII delimited or fixed field file that is imported into the program.  One of these files is required for each data source used at an installation.   For more information on Import definitions see Import definition file.

 

       N                New: This option will create a new Import definition file to be edited in the Import Definition Editor when creating a new configuration.
       E                Edit: This option allows you to Edit the Import definition file in the Import Definition Editor.
       F                From IMP: This option will convert an .IMP file to a new .IML file.  This process is performed automatically the first time you attempt to use a .IMP file for importing.
