From case id list

Given a file containing a list of case id numbers from the same database, this option generates a new diagram of these records.

Because duplicate accidents are not added to any diagrams, this option will never result in duplicated data.

In order to ensure that all accidents in the list are displayed, the filter for this diagram type is initially set to clear.  It may be modified after the diagram is complete.  The date range is also set to include the entire database.

The case id list may include information to be placed in the annotations area of the diagram.  This is done using special keywords at the beginning of the case id list file.  The valid keywords are:

•                ;AnnotateName=Some name or text

•                ;AnnotateDate=Some date text

•                ;AnnotateOther=Some other diagram heading information

When any of these lines are placed at the start of the case id list file, their corresponding annotation will be set to the indicated text.

Hint: The caseid list can be created by creating an accident list report using the case id number as the first field in the report (other fields may also be included).  Once this report is done, header or title information may be deleted and the file saved.  This is also useful when you would like a diagram created from information from another software program.  Any information after the case id number will be ignored in the process of creating a diagram from a case id list.
