The Date range Box allows the user to select the date range for a given study. The box displays the range of dates in the database file and defaults to the last date range chosen. By selecting the drop-down list box under each of the dates, the user may choose calculated dates such as "First of year" or "Start of current quarter". The dates are validated as they are entered, as well as upon accepting the dates by choosing OK.
The "Study date" concept allows the user to define what date should be used as "Today" when choosing such items as "First day of month" or "Last day of quarter".
