To create a chart from scratch, make the diagram the current window by clicking on it, then select the same options from the Presentation graphics menus again, or click on the Presentation Graphics box from the tool bar. When the Chart selector comes up, click on the New button on the bottom of the box to run the Chart Magician.
Now you will be brought in to select a variable or field with which to create a chart. Select the "1 variable chart" option and then select an X-axis for the desired variable, Type of Collision. Then select the Make it! button. It will ask you to give it a file name, type in TOC (which will replace the *.CHD) and hit return, this will create a TOC.CHD file. Now you have listed in the selector the TOC chart that you created for the variable Type of Collision. Select your new chart by clicking on TOC and say OK to exit that box. You will get a Type of Collision Chart created for Broadway & Middle Street.
Just like the reports and filters, charts can be created for any field you have in the database. For more information see Displaying charts. |
