Crash Magic Desktop is the desktop successor to Intersection Magic.
It's been re-written from the ground up using the new Magic Wands Technology. Some of the new features include:
- Support for MS SQL Server, Oracle, MS Access
- Built-in mapping (requires the purchase of ArcView GIS 8.x)
- Unlimited number of fields
- New and improved interface
- Support for all common data types (number, text, date, etc.)
- Support for corridor diagrams
- True, expression based rules for generation of graphics
- XML-based configuration files
- Support for long filenames, UNC paths, etc.

Crash Magic Online is the browser-based alternative Crash Magic. All of the program
configuration, processing, and maintenance exist only on the server.
It's features include:
- All reporting features of Crash Magic
- Nothing to install. Just load a browser
- Automatic, transparent updates
- All work is preserved until explicitly deleted
- Centralized storage of all reports, filters, charts
- Centralized configuration
Note: While this program is generally available as a service, DOT's may purchase a server license in order to expose
in-house data to remote agencies. |
Magic Wands are a suite of tools that in-house or contract programmers can
use to integrate collision diagrams, charts, reports and other Magic Wands Technologies.
- COM based controls work in VB, C++, .NET and it's native Delphi
- Web Service SOAP based controls achieve cross-platform operation
- Standards-based XML configuration and settings files
- Open graphics format SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics)
